It's a little weird seeing myself with them. [ He says it that was but he does sound pleased with it. A little listless. Rohan doesn't let it stick around, however, and he makes his way toward the door, going right on through it without holding it open for his GOOD FRIEND. ]
What did you have to ask me?
no subject
Can you at least let me get a coffee? I'm still half asleep.
[Oh, now he tells him. Probably wouldn't have been a very wise thing to admit to before trying to get Rohan on the back of his motorcycle.
Whatever complaints Rohan might have for him, though, he breezes past and promptly orders himself a drink and one- no, two slices of cake. Might as well go all out now that he can appreciate it.]
What are you having? I'm paying.

[ In fact, Rohan hops right behind the counter itself, bumping whomever is Barista-ing out of the way. ] We have a caramel mocha thing I like here. Do you want to try it with some espresso?
[ He's quite the talented little coffee handler and he goes right about his business-- which is much easier now that he isn't dragging his tail around. ]
I do not work here too much anymore but Miss Madoka is kind enough to allow me to hang around for pocket change. Pick out some cake if you want. I like the little lime cream one even if I have to puree it.
If I am honest, I'm finding out that eating normal food is very difficult... [ By which he means he REALLY has to barf after he eats lately. ]

[There's no convincing a guy like Rohan when he has something in mind and, after a moment or so of trying to look like a cash-money-tough-guy, he gives up and leans over the counter.]
Hmm... let's see... [He taps a finger against his chin thoughtfully. The classy answer would be walnut cake or a scone or something but...] Okay, I'll have a cappuccino and... how about a slice of that cheesecake to go with it?
[That done, he glances back up at Rohan.]
... did she screw up fixing you or something?

I think it just a basic lesson in biology. When you go for so long without something and a shock to the system occurs, the reaction can be highly negative. I don't think it's her fault as much as it is my body not being used to what it's supposed to be doing.
[ He fetches his lime pie and Josuke's cheesecake and they're off to the races. ]
Imagine an accordion. You stretch it all the way out and then squeeze it together as tightly as possible. [ He takes a sip of his own mocha thing. ] That's me. I'll get over it. It's just... Not easy for a while. I've been limiting my intake for the sake of safety. I will be fine.
[ MAYBE. ]
Tell me how your coffee is. No cafe in Bavan compares to this one.

[He slides the coffee and cake towards his side of the table with a grateful nod, though he doesn't start on either right away. There's still a slightly pensive look in his eyes and, when he glances back at Rohan- and unashamedly at his new-old legs- he gives a hum.]
... I guess that answers one of my other questions, though. Mana probably wouldn't be able to change us back permanently, huh...?
no subject
I think if Mana could make up permanently human again, the Fog God would be out of work and there would be less monsters, Josuke. [ He has a point though. ]
I have learned that she can permanently change the species of somebody who pays her enough money. Like turning you into a seaweed horse or one of those giant spiders.

[As if to get the bad taste of that thought out of his mouth, he picks up his fork, cuts a healthy chunk off of his cheesecake and eats it. Rohan was right- it is pretty good.]
Anyway. Your legs... they're totally identical? Same length? She didn't accidentally make one shorter than the other, right?
