Five days ago I went bearzerk and killed a human. I freaked out after. One of my friends who works for her like u helped me clean up and stop freaking.

Sort of? It'd been a couple days and I've mostly just had soup kitchen stuff. Except when this boy gave me some right when I started changing and then when I went to Dyster when the doors started opening they gave me some cooked stuff there.

I think maybe it didn't help that my senses got really sharp all of a sudden. Humans smell really delicious now.

One of the perks is that you don't have to deal with hunger sneaking up on you. You will just know when to go out and hunt.

It sounds like She wants your favor. You are strong enough for Her power, Dyster wasn't an awful place, and you sound fairly comfortable with your hunger. For what all of that is worth.

It helps a lot if u just think of the meat as just meat and not something that was a person before. It's a little harder to do that to someone u just went bearzerk on tho. I needed his help with that.

That is pretty much how I look at it. In the end, the ones I eat don't look like people when I'm finished with them. I jar them like marmalade.

In the case of you and your friend... Is he affiliated with Her?

Ingway? Yeah. He's one of Hers.

[Part of her is quietly horrified to hear about the 'marmalade,' but the rest of her is not so quietly envious. She's got that bundle of rag and bone and hair under her bed and she's still not sure what to do with it.]

I guess maybe it also helps that at some point during all this I sort of accepted that killing is part of my nature? Like, maybe not one I like particularly much [Except man did it feel good to break that human's neck in the alley] but one I'm stuck with? And, u kno, I've got to survive. Even if it means I have to do objectively awful things.
