[Like Karamatsu, Rohan will find a package on the doorstep of Castle Lüvchaque. Done up in pristine white paper and an elaborate blue bow, it doesn't take much guesswork to figure out who it's from, even with a big "K" emblazoned on the tag. It's...actually a huge box, and there's a really good reason why. Because once Rohan gets into it, he'll find a project Karamatsu has been slaving over for months: a long, sock-like sweater made out of fleece that's long enough to cover the entirety of Rohan's snake body. There's a clear opening at the end, leaving part of the tip of his tail free for use. It's made with every shade of blue starting with the darkest at the top tapering all the way to white at the bottom.

Along with this comes a letter written by Karamatsu himself. ...it's several pages long.]

Dear Kishibe-san,

This is the first year I have had the opportunity to get a Christmas gift for someone other than the members of my family. It is also my first year apart from part of said family, but I believe that I have gained a new one in the process.

When I first entered your shop looking for a job, I did not truly think I would be accepted. My words said I did, but in my heart I knew it was too good to be true. It had to be. Someone of such high caliber in such a prestigious shop would want only the most experienced. The best. Well, you proved me wrong that day. And you taught me that it takes so much more than the words you can say to prove that you are worth something. That if you show someone what you can do, and do it well, then you can do anything.

You can shine. And that is all I have really ever wanted.

We monsters at Ebony Threads are a family. I cannot imagine where I would be currently without any one of you, but especially you. You are not only an inspiration but someone I can truly call my dear friend. You have made me a better person, and have made living in Ryslig something I do not regret.

I am so very glad to have met you, Rohan. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

[Around two in the afternoon - it would have been earlier, but she'd gotten a little lost on the way - Castle Lüvchaque is going to be getting an unusual visitor. One that's probably going to end up far more common in the future, but at the moment?
This is Ibuki's first visit to Bavan's other castle, as far as she knows!

It's a little exciting; she doesn't know her boss all that well, but if there's one thing she's sure of, it's that she feels that should change.
Friendship is her jam, yo. And Rohan really seems like he could use some more friends. Plus, he calls her nice things, and that's important.

Taking another little while to actually... find her way in and around the castle itself, Rohan's door is eventually going to be knocked on - and then unceremoniously thrown open, like the knocking was just a formality.
She'll replace any broken locks later, promise.]

[It's late afternoon when Anna comes to find Rohan in his library. She's in a good mood, as per usual; a lot of her small worries about turning into a goblin have slowly melted away as she's learned to accept that this is how things will be. The last fog was easier than the first, and it's the reason Anna is here now. She's got something to show Rohan that she thinks he'll quite like.

She's picked out one of the backless dresses from her wardrobe, with a dainty halter neck that skirts her shoulder spikes neatly.]

Rohan! Look what grew in last night!

[She turns around, a graceful spin as she enters the library proper, and shows off the tiny purple wings that have sprouted from her back. It was quite painful, but now that they're out, Anna's pretty sure they're actually quite fetching.]

[Y'know, it's a good thing the shop's probably not too busy at the moment. Ibuki was supposed to come in earlier, but with her memory... hopefully it's expected of her to forget her shifts once in a while.
Of course, that's not what happened this time around, which'll be obvious when she bursts in without any preamble.

Yeah, he was kind of stalling initially on letting any actual significance to the two bite marks on his neck sink in. His first thought was that one of the creatures floating around here had made a snack of him in his sleep, and that he was going to have words with them, "words" being a euphemism for heck-he-was-going-to-cross-that-bridge-when-he-came-to-it once he figured out who they were, not that he had any plan for how he was going to do that.

Well, he's since seen indication that, indeed, it might be something a little more than that.
