I'm inquiring about a hiring opportunity! Ms. Mari Ohara let me know you are looking for an assistant, and I would love to come in and see if we won't work well together.
Let me know if you're in today and I'll come by!
Thank you for your time,
Maya Fey

Mari Ohara is a girl I gave a dress to. I am assuming that you are new as well? My assistant and bookkeeper has gone elsewhere for an unknown length of time and the position is open.
Job details are as follows: Balancing facts and figures for the business, organizing orders by priority so that myself and my staff may get to them in a timely manner, and possibly helping model clothing depending heavily on your body type.
You may come in today if you would like. I will be here all evening.
The address is [ BAVAN ADDRESS HERE ]
-- Rohan Kishibe

And she did ask for this lead, so.]
Thank you! I'll look forward to seeing you later.
[She leaves it at that and, after her uniform is clean from being rain-soaked the night before, Maya dons her usual attire to take to the streets of Bavan. Having made sure to write down the address she was given, she checks it before she steps in with the precociousness of a young cat.
Maya pokes her head past Ebony Threads's door first, looking left and right before she steps in and closes it behind her. Her hands linger on the door frame behind her back, and she asks--]
Mr. Kishibe?

The little bell overhead jingles. Maya will find herself surrounded by not clothing but walls upon walls of framed paintings. All of them realistic from landscapes to fearsome monsters. Over the main desk, there sit a portrait of a silver and black mermaid on the right and a purple and gold gargoyle on the left.
Hearing the bell, Rohan's boot-like hooves click along the ground until he reaches the shopfront proper. His glowing green eyes look her up and down. ]
You must be Maya.
no subject
Yes!
[She clears her throat. Maybe don't look so obviously intimidated? Jeez, Maya, stop being such a weenie, you're trying to get a job!!!]
Um, I mean, I am. It's nice to meet you in person!
[She puts her hands together in front of her and bows deep at the waist, ever the respectful medium.]
no subject
You do not need to bow here. We're not in Japan.
[ Otherwise, he would require it. It's kind of like how he doesn't require people to call him Rohan-sensei around here. Namely because they don't know that it's what he goes by at home. ]
It's a pleasure to meet you too. Welcome to my tailor shop and my art gallery. I do not showcase my clothing as much as I do my paintings. I'm an artist before I am a tailor.
no subject
[She's not sure what to do without bowing! No one's told her in L.A. not to do so, even if most of the time they call her a hippie or weird or traditional.]
These are all yours?
[Maya asks, choosing to marvel rather than to focus on her own confusion. She steps into the shop further, eyes on all her surroundings, bright and starry.]
They're amazing...
no subject
Why, thank you. I was a mangaka at home. Comic books. I took up painting here as a job when I needed money. Now I do all sorts of things.
Perhaps I may end up painting you one day.
no subject
A mangaka?!
[Much more eager to approach Rohan now, Maya practically bounces his way, hands crossed over her chest and under her magatama as she expresses her awe.]
That would be amazing, Mr. Kishibe! I-- I've never met a mangaka before but I used to read comics all the time before I took up my last job!
[...............maybe she still picked up a few from time to time shut up]
no subject
Oh dear. She is one of THESE... ]
Well-- I do have some one-offs I can let you borrow if you are interested? I have no use for them. [ He worries at his lip for half a second because ATTENTION. ]
I'll... Give them to you when you leave. Now, the job sounds suitable enough for you? I have no set pay rate, but I promise that it pays handsomely.
no subject
[Maya replies, leaning back into her own space. She's sociable, but not stupid.]
Oh-- but, of course. I used to work for a law firm as a lawyer's assistant, so I'm pretty used to the work!
[Phoenix was incredibly disorganized, after all...]
no subject
A lawyer? Well... The work here should be much easier than keeping tabs on a LAWYER...
no subject
[She says, simultaneously affectionate and ruthless.]
Oh-- and I can tidy up and stuff, too.
no subject
You can clean up the work room and the storefront.
I like my things where they are. I have a system.
[ Organized Chaos. ]

Hey, as long as nothing gets dusty.
[Or rotten, or smelly..... Clutter can be managed.]
he's so upset
Let my sporadic style exist as part of myself... [ DRAMATIC ] You shouldn't take that away from me.
Poor brohan
...It's that important to you, huh?
why is this sad now
Maybe that was a little dramatic but yes.
because bonding, I guess?
[Maya assures, putting her hands together again and giving Rohan an eager smile. Your secrets and weird habits are safe with her.]
Anything else I should keep in mind?
